Chevrolet Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition.
Amazing Low Mileage
In September 2001 GM announced that the ’02 model year of the Camaro SS (Super Sport) would be the last. Of course, it was revived in later years, but after 35 years loyal followers were not pleased with the news in late 2001.
To commemorate the model, Chevrolet launched an exclusive, limited – edition model in this Camaro SS 35th Anniversary for 2002.
With the 3rd generation 346 ci (5.7 l) LS1 V8 mated to either a 4 speed Auto with overdrive, or a 6 speed manual shift, the true spirit of the Camaro Super Sports performance was continued.
Bringing this to a stop were 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and an optional traction control.
The options for the 35th Anniversary edition also included Bright Red Paint, dual silver stripes fading into chequered racing flags. Unique 17 x 9 ten spoke, machine faced wheels with black inserts. Exclusive badging (American’s love them), and two tone leather seats with embroidered headrests.
This amazing example has covered only 6,650 miles from new. Yes, six thousand six hundred and fifty miles!
How amazing is that?
