This car is rare, in 1942 the USA entered WWII, car production was switched to other things like trucks, tanks and stuff.

Ford produced these for only 5 months so this car is not only rare, it is very cool.

Thanks to Vanguard Motors, Plymouth Michigan, this car was collected in a covered trailer, shipped in a container to Felixstowe and was the cleanest car we have ever collected from the docks.

The drive to Area 51 was superb, top down cruising at 70mph.

A Frame off restoration superbly done by Ace builder Eddie Serrato in Upland California. This all steel ’42 is powered by a New crate motor, the ubiquitous Chevy 350ci (5.7 litre) V8 with an upgraded cam topped with a New 4 Barrel Edelbrook and electric fuel pump, mated to a 700 R4 auto and running a Ford  9” positive traction rear axle with 380 gears. Jet coated exhaust and Hooker mufflers. Rack & pinion power steering, Ididit tilt column, Vintage steering wheel. Mustang front clip with coil over suspension. Servo assisted disc brakes at all four corners, 16” Budnick Wheels and Goodrich Radial tyres.

Finished in Chevy Brownstone metallic with a dual tone interior, smoked glass and glass rear window.

Awarded ‘Pick of the show’ by the National Street Rod Association first time out.
